意思是,8900未来将取代8500,也就是所有的8500机芯将升级至 MASTER CHRONOMETER 至臻天文台标准。
个人感觉,这是 OMEGA 针对 ROLEX 新推出的 32XX 系列机芯的一个初步回应,因为 32XX 机芯将 ROLEX 原有的 Superlative Chronometer 标准具体化为 -2至+3秒/天。32XX 的推出,必然要求 OMEGA 继续加快创新步伐,这对我们所有人不管是准备购买 ROLEX 还是 OMEGA 表的用户,都是好消息。
