Prototype Derek Pratt wristwatch featuring remontoir d'égalité, flying mainspring barrels and dead seconds.
Derek Pratt was one of the world's greatest watchmakers. He was also one of the least well known. An Englishman living in Swizerland, Derek's work encompassed the absolutely sublime pocket watches he did for Urban Jürgensen; making co-axial escapements for George Daniels to the accurate reproduction of John Harrison's legendary H4 marine chronometer.
While the movement, 41mm case and enamel dial were all designed and validated by Derek before his death in 2009, the wristwatch series is project managed by Ron DeCorte and the watches are hand made by Stewart Lesemann.
The case and crown are prototypes and the movement does not yet have its final fine finish.
