Cal. 12’’’, frosted gilt, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement “à moustache”, cut bi-metallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 30.6 mm. Thickness 9 mm. <b>Property of an Swiss Gentleman</b> </p>
<p>*The design of Ref. 96 dates from 1932. This dial is the so-called “Observatory” dial. The rarity of the present watch comes from the fact that an early movement is housed in a later Ref. 96 Calatravatype case.</p>
