This is an excellent and very large fusee marine chronograph pocket watch, 60.5mm diameter,18.5mm deep and weighing 180.0 gm. The case carries a Chester hallmark for 1900/01 and has no dents or scratches of any significance.It has the makers initials C.J.Rstamped on the inside standing for Charles James Richardson of Cornwall House, Cornwall Road,Coventry. The movement is also fully signed by Richardson but had beensupplied to J.W Keeley & Sons of London & Liverpool. Finally the dial is signed by J.E Taylor,Ashton-under-Lyne, who presumably was the retailer.
